…like Comanechi!
Doesn’t really work, does it? Neither does the poster. I made it myself since everyone’s on holiday. Putting it here is pretty much a desperate plea that anyone who knows things about graphic design/posters/MAKING THINGS LOOK GOOD get in touch.
Although to be honest, none of this really matters, because we’ve only gone and booked one of the best flippin bands about.
Comanechi. They released their debut (and looooong awaited) album Crime of Love this year and quite frankly, it’s beyond brilliant. And don’t just take my word for it – even NME took time off toasting Louis Waterman to give it 9 out of 10.
They’re from London, and you might even recognise Akiko as the singer in Pre and drummer in The Big Pink. Last time they played Cardiff was supporting Ponytail… and if you were at that gig then you can skim this crap as you really shouldn’t need any convincing to get yourself down to the CAI on Tuesday January 12th.
