What’s this all about then? When we started this project we had an idea that we wanted to enhance the Culture of Cardiff s and for people to be able to experience something new, to find something new be that a band, DJ, Artist or even just new ideas. Part of that ethos was that we should make everything as cheap as possible and mostly free… Our thinking behind this is that one not paying to get in is always good, two by watching a FREE gig you can bring your mates and three you have some change left over to pay the extra music tax on the bar that supports all this great free music.
We would like to know what you think is better ?
100% FREE gigs and 20% on drinks or
A relative door charge and cheaper drinks ?
You decide….

As a promoter, musician and punter (depending what night it is), I like the idea of the modest door charge of £2 or £3. Few genuine music fans would think it’s unreasonable but at many venues it’s enough to keep the troublemakers out, especially on match days.
yes cheaper alcohol and a reasonable door charge as I can them spend the whole evening in Cai without creeping around around finding a cheaper booser to warm up for the gig.
