Swathes is Matt from Wrexham/Aberystwyth. With an excellent taste in music he’s often booking brilliant bands for his Don’t Die Just Yet! night at Central Station. If our nights met, they’d be friends. BUT WAIT… They’re sort of going to! Because Matt also makes harsh, abrasive, beautiful, challenging and basically TOTALLY KICK ASS MUSIC. Left with no support for a Big Pink show he stepped into the fold and opened up for the current NME tourers. The band fell in love with him. The guy who put out first singles for artists like Klaxons, albums for bands like Titus Andronicus fell in love with our kid from up norf. Even the NME couldn’t keep their hands off. So new, his music sounds like it’s still smothered in bloody terror, wailing into a new world. This isn’t a show to miss. Support comes from the excellent Among Brothers. A new Cardiff band who’re currently receiving heavy rotation on BBC Introducing… and my stereo.
