Little Comets have been ‘introduced’ by Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, who likens them to a cheekier British version of Vampire Weekend. How have they earned this cheeky reputation? By playing guerrilla gigs at camp sites, call centres, beaches, university lecture theatres, on trams and in the bakery aisle of Newcastle’s Marks & Spencer. That’s how!
Now you can catch the Geordie quartet at Cardiff Arts Institute for the cheeky little price of £3/£2, as they ride high on the success of their latest single, Adultery.
No Sweat are running a competition for one local solo/acoustic act and one local band to support Little Comets. After a lot of sweaty deliberation, we’ve now decided on our Top 5 for each category and you can vote here. Voting closes at midnight on Friday 16th April.
