Having spent the last months homelessly floating around the musical ether, Cardiff’s only totally eclectic dancing focused night returns!
With camp now set up at Cardiff Arts Institute we’ll be bringing the usual blend of all things danceable.
As always your dancefloor officials will be

and expect them to drop all the usual foundation flavours of;
JAZZ/FUNK/SOUL/LATIN/AFRO/BOOGIE
right through to your modern breeds of fusion like:
BROKEN/DUBSTEP/HOUSE/GARAGE/FUNKY
Alongside this on the night, long time cohort Tim Baille will be taking care of LIVE PERCUSSION duties!!
PLUS we have our visual specialist Kid Skwid providing LIVE VJ’ing!!!!
But before all of that, as a special treat we’ll be showing the 1959 classic, Palme d’Or, Oscar and Golden Globe winning movie BLACK ORPHEUS. With a multi million selling soundtrack created by Luiz Bonfá & Antônio Carlos Jobim, this is widely credited with increasing awareness of the hip new ‘Bossa Nova’ sound in the USA and Europe for the very first time.
