Juxtaposition of two live bands this Friday at Ba-Ba-Boom!. Got some crazy electro-tropical-pop from Katapulto (vids below are MUST see) but first up soft bossa-jazz from D’Taba. I could write you an essay on how these disparate genres speak to each other through rhythm and texture. But they don’t and I won’t. Its about the CONTRAST. Resident DJs bring the Bmore/Brazil/Baseline/Bollywood/Bhangra/Boogaloo til 3am.
