However there’s no doubting that South Londoner Last Japan is making some big moves. After much blog love for his bootleg remixes of Lykee Li, Rapture & La Roux he has been picked up by Major labels such as Atlantic, Sony and Universal for remix work and has already added his golden touch to the likes of Crystal Fighters, Diplo & Laidback Luke.

From her days of battle rhyming through to the Electro Grime of her Binary Kids duo and up to her recent more pop based productions, KC aka Kitty Cowell has always put in some major work. She’s been a finalist on Channel 4’s ‘Road To V’, appeared on the Basement Jaxx track Twerk, toured the country with Lady Sovereign and has her own clothing label (Distress To Impress). Check out this remix from French DJ and Music TV Presenter, DJ Kaio which features the Cardiff based rapper on vocals.

KINGTHING
With his Night Audio label (Clueless, Submerse, Sully, El-B, etc) and hypnotically bubbling, off kilter productions of his own, KingThing is definitely one of the most exciting new producers on the Future Garage scene right now. Like a lot of the quality artists these days though he’s not so easy to pin down and the Chester producer also has plenty of fantastic 4/4 flavours blowing up his Soundcloud page as well. He’s popped up on some of our favourite new mixes from the likes of Sully and Jackmaster and has some big new tunes due soon on Fortified Audio and L2S, so it’s only right we bring him down for his first of the Welsh capital.

The ‘modern day Emma Goldman’ has indeed been known to cause a fair amount of anarchy throughout the city, aided and abetted by a few shots of Sailor Jerrys and a bag full of her favourite tunes, which you can generally find her unleashing at Clwb Ifor Bach, Buffalo and Ten Feet Tall. With this red hot, red topped DJ behind the decks, expect the night to be undeniably ‘rad’.
