This year Dumbwise has been collaborating with current budding writers to scratch and develop new plays for live perfomrance.The latest project, Baby, is a new play by Francis Ford which follows the story of three young adults and their attempt to escape a world of poverty and prostitution by means of selling life’s purest commmodity.
After an encouraging London reading in the Spring, DumbWwise are rocking up in Cardiff to perform the plays third draft.With the craft of storytelling at its heart, Dumbwise produces risky, probing and humorous plays with an unashamely human candour.The company’s orginal works are rooted in contempoary British culture and will appeal to those who firmly live in the now.
