Journalist / Blogger Competition

Like the idea of music lovers reading your reviews?

This might be your chance to make it happen. We’ve teamed up with ‘Plugged In’ to give you the opportunity to review Cardiff’s Swn Festival, taking place from Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd October, for the Cardiff Arts Institute Blog.

As part of a UK wide campaign, SWALEC’s plugged in is all about supporting local talent and is throwing down the gauntlet to budding local music journalists in and around Cardiff by offering this fantastic opportunity to gain press access to the festival and have their reviews published right here on our blog.

The Prize: a press pass to cover the festival with the daily blogs published Cardiff Arts Institute Blog and on plugged in’s Facebook. The winner will also get a VIP pass to bring a friend along to the festival.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to write up daily blogs covering the very best in upcoming talent at Swn Festival then email a review of up to 100 words about the last gig you saw to pluggedin@getinvolvedltd.com.

Plugged in is brought to you by SWALEC supporting local talent and providing opportunities for people in the creative arts in Wales. www.facebook.com/pluggedinlive is the place to be to find out what’s happening at festivals throughout the country. Keep checking in for great competitions and plugged in opportunities year round.
