Charcoals at the ready!
For those of you whove been attending the ever popular life drawing on tuesdays @ Cardiff Arts, then youd agree that recently theres not much room to swing an easel! We obviously dont want it to over sell, so we’ve taken the sensible route and now scheduled two sessions each Tuesday. Thats right – two sessions on a Tuesday, back to back.
First session- 5.30pm – 7pm
Second session – 7pm – 8.30pm
For those of you interested in attended, then we’re more than happy to see you with your sketchpads filling up.
The life drawing all takes place upstairs at Cardiff Arts Institute, 29 Park Place, Cardiff
Entry is just £5.00 paid as a donation for the session. There will be art materials available and a regular rotation of models week on week.
Each session has two models, one male and one female in individual and joint poses.
A little bit about the organisers, The Life Drawing Collective.
‘We are a group of life models who have been getting naked for artists and photographers for various lengths of time. Some are relatively new to life modeling and others have been working with classes for over fifteen years. We decided to put together ‘a muse me’ to gain more work, to promote healthy acceptance of the naked human form and to ensure the safety of each other when working on new contracts. We are mostly based in Cardiff but will work throughout South Wales and the South West. We have varied backgrounds and lifestyles and it is this individuality that provides the group with excellent dynamics and energy. Some of us have worked behind the camera and alongside production companies for some prestigious BBC pieces and we have been approached by various media to work for magazines and TV. The future will see us developing further modelling opportunities and to work on a Cardiff specific group project.’

Hi Andy, im a freind of Izzy's, I share the house with her and Spike (Stuart). Hearrd that you looking for some models, am interested and wouldnt mind giving it a shot if i muster up the courage.
