Saturday 9th April | London Afrobeat Collective | support from King Louis Collective | Cardiff Arts Institute
£2 b4 11, £4 after
We love big Afrobeat orchestras at Ba-Ba-Boom so it’s with great excitement that we announce this show. They do exactly what it says on the tin, a collective playing Afrobeat from London. Pumpin’ funky rhythms, African flavours and a massive horn section. Music to dance to for hours. You can see what other people have said about them below, but it’s better to check the video below and then come and see them for yourself on 9th April in the flesh. Will be astounding.
And we’ve got our own Collectives in Cardiff too. Representing the local funk outfits is King Louis Collective, another 8 piece with boomin brass section. The prefect support act for the night: http://www.myspace.com/kinglouiscollective

Resident Advisor
“…this band puts on a show that just gets better and better and better. The intricate rhythms and melodies carry the crowd through time and space until suddenly you realise you’ve been dancing for 3 hours, your friends are in a trance and you’ve missed the last tube!”
