After cutting his teeth on the Cardiff clubland as part of Skinny White Boys and C.R.S.T. – Ratcatcher (formerly Rodski) is now riding solo and has returned to his first love, House Music! His residencies at Cardiff Arts Institute and Dalston’s popular underground Rhythm Talk parties have shown him to be one of the most astute DJs on the scene and remixes for the likes of Crystal Fighters, Lokiboi have shown him as a more than worthy producer on the rise.

Bristol born vinyl junkie Owain_K (Owain Kimber) has long since been an integral part of the South Wales music scene as DJ, promoter, producer and all round music pusher for many years. With releases on Dessous Recordings, Outland, Elevation Recordings, Loudeast and Blacksoul, he has recently remixed for Kevin Yost’s I! Records and has plenty more in store for the year to come.
KOVAS (64 Bars)
Spawned on the Ninja Tunes forum, the 64 Bar project led by Cardiff’s semi retired DJ Kovas invites producers to work on a track of the same tempo, and containing the same number of bars (64 obviously) and then at the end someone mixes them all together (the next installment is due to be mixed by DJ Food). Kovas, who should be recognisable to anyone who frequented both Moloko or Toucan in their heyday, and is a great producer / DJ in his own right, gives us a little taster of the project.
