- The Songs of Nick Drake
- Over the past seven years or so Keith James and Rick Foot have gained substantial acclaim for bringing the fragile and beautiful music of Nick Drake into a live context, giving re-birth and a human presence to one of the most influential singer-songwriters of the last 50 years. Nick Drake (1948 - 1974) was an English singer-songwriter and musician best known for his acoustic, autumnal songs. Although he failed to find a wide audience during his lifetime, Drake's work has grown steadily in stature, and has now reached such proportions that he will always be seen as a landmark, a beauty, a thread of creativity that will forever span the rapids of modern music.
This phenomenally successful show has toured worldwide. Starting with a short film about Nick Drake, James (vocal, acoustic guitar) and Foot (double bass) go on to perform the wonderful songs of Nick Drake. http://www.songsofnickdrake.com doors 7pm FREE

It’s happy slapping your frontal lobes and squirting originality into your medulla oblongata from a hose pipe of absurdity. With sketches, music, gameshows, film, stand up, heated debate, adverts all served up in short, sharp chunks. This is flicking through the channels and finding 'comedy gold' on every side...
